HOW TO USE

Apply an even layer to clean, damp skin and gently massage to activate the pumice. Leave on for approximately 3 minutes, allowing the AHAs to work, then thoroughly rinse off. Use 2-3 times a week.

How often should I use Trilogy's Vitamin C Microdermabrasion?

Traditional microdermabrasion can only be done once every one to two months, but we’ve designed ours to be used two to three times a week. As with all skincare, it will be unique to the individual and will depend on what your skin best responds to so, as always, start slow and build up to what feels comfortable
What are physical and chemical exfoliants, and what do these do in Trilogy's Vitamin C Microdermabrasion?

Physical exfoliators, like scrubs or wash cloths, focus only on the surface of the skin, to physically slough away dead skin cells and make skin smoother and more even in texture. In Vitamin C Microdermabrasion, the physical exfoliant is finely milled pumice powder, designed to polish without damaging.

Chemical exfoliants fall into two main categories: AHAs and BHAs. AHAs are water-soluble, and help to break down the surface level skin cells, targeting dullness, clogging and leaving skin smooth after use. Vitamin C Microdermabrasion contains a blend of five naturally potent and powerful AHAs.
Why is exfoliation important?

Exfoliation is what we need to remove dry, dead skin and to loosen the bonds of nearly dead cells to make them easier to remove. So, we’ve made a product that does both - Vitamin C Microdermabrasion which combines both natural chemical and physical exfoliants for your most polished skin yet. It used to be that exfoliation was a once-a-week part of the routine, but as physical exfoliators have gotten gentler and more effective, and chemical ones have become more advanced, our skin has thanked us for doing it more often.
Can I use Trilogy products while pregnant or breastfeeding?

Trilogy products are formulated with gentle, natural ingredients and are free from synthetic fragrances, harsh chemicals, and artificial colours. Many of our products are suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding; however, as individual needs vary, we recommend checking the ingredient list of each product and consulting your midwife or GP before introducing any new skincare during this time.
